Countdown: 25 days

These past couple have weeks have been nothing but planning. I got my dress, shoes, flowers, invitaions, ENGAGEMENT PICTURES, leis, reception things and all that good stuff. Stress is starting to take over my life! I have to say though that even though my tounge is coated in envelope glue I'm relieved that it is all almost over.


There have been a lot of ups and downs, especially with the drama with my parents, but everything will be fine.


One of the best things is that we got our engagements done. Amy Pace is out photographer and she has done an AMAZING job (amypacephotography.com)! Here are some of our favorites:

There were a lot of interesting events that led up to us meeting.

Stacy sold security systems for Platinum Protection in Washington DC in the summer of 2007 with a few of Sam's high school friends. When she came back one of those friends had a birthday party and that was the first time Sam and Stacy met. Sam caught Stacy's eye because he was wearing a shirt that said Kailua on it. Kailua is the small little town in Hawaii where Stacy grew up. Harldy anyone knows where it is unless you've lived there. It turns out that Sam served his mission in the Hawaii Honolulu mission. But, not only that, he served where Stacy's mom grew up and in Stacy's old homeward from when she was little. They found out that they know A LOT of the same people from a tiny little island. Coincidence? We think NOT.
